I have been doing a lot of reading over the break and wanted to get some feedback from others. We are building a new house with a 32'x24' attached garage. The garage is a little different in that ~18' is a 12' high flat ceiling and '14 is a vaulted ceiling that is 22' at the peak.
I used the lighting tool for the 12' flat ceiling section and it recommended 12 lights. I will probably only use 9 or 10 because I don't need a ton of light over the stairs. These will be the flat panel LEDs from best lighting thread.
For the vaulted section of the garage I was thinking of using 8 of the high baby fixtures from the best lighting thread mounted along the ceiling. Is this enough for this area? A couple of things I have to work around are a dormer which will limit where I can place them and a high baby garage door.
Here are some pictures of what I am working with.
