I hope my file posts... 1st time attempting.
My new garage has some unusual features and I'm not sure how to best light it. I am going with the recommended lights from the "best LED" thread (or perhaps the Costco ones iif they ever go on sale gain for under $20 ea) and I've run the lighting calculator but it wants to position the lights 90 degrees out from how I'd like them... I'm sure because of the beam projection angle.
The problem is I have a steel beam running down the center of the garages long axis that is about 1 foot lower than the majority of the ceiling 8' versus 9'. Also- I have 1 bay where I plan to install a lift and the ceiling is going to be almost 16'... but I may pad it down to 12'.
I've done a very simple layout and would love some guidance. I'd rather not hang the lights below the beam running perpendicular to the beam but I'm open to suggestions.
