i'm getting ready to put some lights up in my garage ... the garage is 28' deep x 20' wide w/ 9' ceiling and white walls.... I park one car on the one side and my Ski Nautique boat on the other... and work bench in the back.... I mostly want to get good light to detail my cars in there..... here is a attach pic of the the garage with a possible lay out....

I'm looking to use probably T8's 4 foot maybe one or two 8 ft.....

I want alot of light to see what to do... I detailed my truck last weekend in there and had a hard time seeing I had 5 -100 watt soft white bulbs in a x pattern in the outlets in the ceiling and had alot of dark areas on the side of the truck to see to detail....

what is everyones thoughts... thanks

my garage is 23'x20' with 8 sets of 2-bulb 4' t8 fluorescents. overhead lighting is great and sometimes supplemented with a portable 500 watt halogen worklight. i think it'd be nice to have lights mounted on the walls, though, especially for detailing cars.
