I recently installed fluorescent strips in my garage over the weekend and now I've noticed that the garage door is making slight contact with one of the fixtures. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could remedy this issue? Oh yeah, by slight I mean an eight of an inch would clear up the problem.

If its that slight, you have two choices-the lights need to be thinner or the door needs to be lower, which is easier to adjust?

I thought about lowering the door, unfortunately, I just checked and the track is already making contact with the ground. The door only rubs for a second while opening it. Is there another way to lower the height?

I am assuming you cannpt just shorten the chain they are hanging from?
Try rotating the fixture 90 degrees.

Nope, no chain. They're flush mount. I went ahead and cut and shortened the track. Now I have around 3 inches of clearance between the fixture and the door while opening it.
