lighting layout

I have a 30x40 garage the 30ft wide with 2 garage doors on it then 40ft deep i was thinking 12 t8 8ft lights with 4 4ft bulbs how would you lay out the lights is that enough the height is 10ft

If you are going with 12 fixtures I would put 1 on each side (2 in-line spaced evenly) across the width times 4 (8 fixtures, 2 every 7 1/2 feet) and put the remaining 4 on the wall about 8 feet off the ground horizontally (2 per 40 foot wall) spaced evenly.

I put 3 4' fixtures on each side wall that way and the lighting is very nice coming from the sides.
