Hi all, I'm new here, and have learned a lot from everyone! I bought a place last year that has a nice barn. The main structure is 36x30x12'4" to the bottom of the 2x4 trusses. It also has a 11' wide addition that wraps around two sides with a shed roof which is about 12' on the barn side, sloping down to 8' at the exterior walls. Walls and ceiling are not insulated or finished, it appears to be pole barn construction with 2x4 studding on 24" centers on the main part and more traditional construction with 16" centers on the addition.
The part I am looking for lighting ideas on is the main 36x30 area. I have an RV taking up a third of the space, and use the rest for car storage, and mechanical work.
It appears that a dozen 2 bulb T8 fixtures will light the place up, but I'm wondering how well due to the lack of reflective surfaces. Any thoughts? I'll probably run three switch banks but haven't decided on front to back or lengthwise just yet. Thanks!
