Lighting Options for Garage?

I have a roughly 26x23 attached garage with 11 foot ceilings that I am refinishing. The garage currently has two light bulb sockets that I would like to remove and hardwire new LED shop lights into. Are high bay light fixtures overkill in this application? What type of fixtures should I be looking at?
