I did search to see if I could find an answer to my problem but it seems like this is a difficult question to answer and the answer is different for every situation.
Anyway, my shop space is 21x27 with roughly 7 foot ceilings. It's just a tinge more then 7. (I'm dealing with what I got
) Also there is a beam running down the center of said space (a factor that may or may not be handy). And I will primarily use the shop for leather working/general putting around.
So I have 6 t8 4 foot fixtures, that I am planning on using. Would you orient the fixtures length wise or crosswise in the space? I know there will be shadows with the low ceiling height, but I would like to try and diminish them as much as possible. Task lighting is in the works over the benches.
Thoughts opinions?
Thank you,
Chris
