I'm getting quotes from electricians for my soon to be built 40x80x14 pole barn shop. There will be an unheated 40x24 farm equipment section and a 40x56 heated shop, with three bays. One bay will have a two post lift. The shop part will be finished inside with white liner panel. I'm working on lighting plans. Should I try to align the lights between the bays? Or can I ignore where the cars are?
The poles are on 8' spacing. Should I attempt to position the lights along the trusses so they can be mounted? Or should I not worry about it since there are probably girts between the trusses for mounting the ceiling?
