Hello, I'm seeking some advice. This might be confusing. My current attached two car garage has a single 15amp receptacle and a single light fixture in the center of the ceiling. I'm in the process of running two 20AMP circuits to the garage and am having difficulty deciding how to add lighting. I have 2 automatic garage doors, so there is limited ceiling space. I was considering changing the current single bulb fixture to a fluorescent light and adding two others where the ceiling meets walls on either side of the house entrance. I would also supplement with lighting around work benches, but am most concerned about the ceiling fixtures right now.

I attached a diagram and tried to identify where the new lighting would be. You'll need to click on it to enlarge. I'm unfamiliar with the lighting options and would definitely appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance.

You didn't state the ceiling height, nor the door opening height!

You might need more power for upstairs, is there existing power up there?

You could use Strip LED's they would "boom" it with your layout.

Remember that lights over work space should be just in front of the work area,
The ergonomics of it is; the light should be in front of where you end up working, not over your head or behind you.
