Hi all,

I'm about to do the electrics on my garage, for a year I've been making do without hard wired electrics but its about to change:

I'd like to consider ideas for low level lights, to help light up the under/sides of cars while being worked on.
I also have Smarthings and Alexa in the garage so if there are any smart garages out there I'd love to combine some of this technology in there.
Here is a photo of my garage layout at the moment.

Thanks,

A friend incorporated recessed lighting into the garage walls between the studs to provide good light to the side of the car.
He uses the bay for cleaning/detailing his shelby

I use battery tower and area lights under the car when it is on the lift. I would not want lights on the sides of my walls or in the floor.

If I ever hit the lottery, I will build a garage with a glass floor with lights beneath. Sixty years in mechanical trades.

I've mounted florescent lights horizontally on a a lot of shop/garage walls over the years for people 3-4' off the floor for that purpose.
