all of this stuff is brand new too ... not sure why he even had it. He was a GC and in his words "Thought I'd use it, never did. I use my cheap stuff most of the time."

I'll be selling off my duplicates, such as the wrenches, ratchet, 2 of the extensions, breaker bar, and the chrome metric sockets ... look for them in the classifieds shortly.

Update: actually had to use the two of the metric impacts today and I have to say the difference in fit and feel from cheaper impacts makes a difference. Engagement was more solid, zero walking off during driving, and all in all superior tool.

Is this worth it for everyone? Meh. If you can afford it I say go for it. Would it be worth sacrificing having other essential tools just to upgrade? I'd say no. It is nice to have the whole soup-to-nuts set though, and a big F-U to Pittsburgh for not including the 15mm in the standard rack i bought last fall (on CL later today)

Just wondering, is he violating a rule somewhere? Looks OK to me.

Great score too.

7. You must have a minimum post count of 100 to post threads in the classifieds. Alliance members can post no matter their post count.

But he is an Alliance Member, so the count doesn't apply.

If that's the worst thing (trolling) he ever does,I can live with that. BTW I bought his extensions.

looks like he supports the site as well, being an alliance member.

Are you a bit sensitive to the bumps, jim?

Actually yes. Rules are in place for a reason. Alliance member not, that doesn't give him special permissions other them not having to have 100 post to sell. Unless there's something. Im not seeing.

Am I missing something? I don't see any bumps on this thread? And this isn't even a sale thread? If your a reporting member why not just pm them a warning. Instead of bringing it up on an outside thread?

Btw OP. YOU ****. That's 2 amazing deals so quick...maybe since you have 2, 1 could be a secret santa :p

Geez, overly sensitive here. If someone doesn't like it, can't they just change the channel? The guy pays to support the site & he's not good enough? Kudos for the buy & for sharing with the rest of us.

Yup. 72hr bump.

Who's being questioned as the troll, me or him?

You. Rather than make veiled (read: passive aggressive)/inflammatory posts send a PM to a mod. I've seen this a few times from you in your short time here.

Sorry guys, missed all the turmoil paying for my tools (damn work!)

Let me take these one by one:
1. I paid for alliance because I love this freakin' site. $50? NP. Go buy some internets on me, k?
2. 100 post limit - after i paid my $ I discovered the 100 post limit is waived. Makes sense: contribute with content or $ and you get to use the site. I like this. I also contribute to some woodworking sites, too. BradG is, for some strange reason, not a common handle. Look me up.
3. 72 hour bump - I have yet to bump. All TWO of my comments were adding new info. Didn't think editing the original post was the best way to do that. Didn't think anyone would give a ****, either.
4. "read the rules" - actually, I read all of the rules prior to posting. Also, some rules are enforced programmatically. There are also mods to police the forums with vengeance!
5. Box PN: KRP825 ($600! Holy Moly!) I'd never seen one either. Trying to see if this could be my truck tool box
6. More box pics: I think the rest are on photo bucket. Look at the URL and just wander around.
7. iajonsey - extensions either going out today (if i can ditch a meeting) or tomorrow. Apologies for the delay.
8. Jim / rules: I see the classifieds as a mutually beneficial service. I get to "peddle my wares" in an environment of high trust and focus, and forum members get first crack at good stuff. If this was my job, part time job, or even something other than a hole I throw money in then you might have a leg to stand on. But for the individual consumer of stainless steel treasures it doesn't really apply. For one, I don't have time to be on this forum daily, nor are the couple of $ I'll recover from the $4k I've spent this month matter beyond me buying more stuff to hide from my wife.

Bump rules were created for those who abuse forums to bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump thereby making the place a goat rodeo for piss-ant demi-business people. I hate those buttonholes, too.

Maybe you're just a rules guy. Not a bad thing, every society needs one. 5 under the speed limit, taxes done early and mercilessly honest, every fish caught photographed and measured in front of witnesses. Good for you, glad you're here. There is a time when this can become pedantic, which is where some of the guys seem to be leaning. I'm not bothered. Keep an eye on me, I'm OK with that. Complain to the mods if you need to, and if I've transgressed I'll mend my ways.

Just do me one favor: stay out of the left lane unless passing, OK? ;)

I'm all about somebody getting a sweet deal on some tools, but you can write/speak logically? That's too much awesome for one person, you need to give me all those tools now. I also agree on the left lane thing. That **** grinds my gears.
