I’m starting my LED search. I have 7/12 scissor trusses so they will be at an angle. I want surface or recessed mount lights. I need the height for moving lumber and my tree gear. Yea I’ll have a 12 ft tree for my climbing gear and practice. Will the gimbal or the strip LEDs work better? Any other suggestions.?I don’t particularly want chains. Craig

If you don't want chains I suggest adding blocking.
I thought about that for the strip LEDs. I’ve also looked at the round gimbal flush mount LED. I’m not sure how well they will light things up. Craig

I just put these in, both in this size and 8' size. I have a feeling if you flush mounted it to the truss you would be just fine. I can't really give an input on how well they last as mine are only a few months old. I am not sure what good a photo would do but I can take one if you like.
