Yes, I “read the whole thread, & did learn something”….
Did you read mine?
-that I had bought 2, T8 LED 8’ fixtures that produced horrid static on my FM music.

Side-bar; I also had put nearly a dozen ferrite cores on every possible wire trying to eliminate/reduce static and it made no difference…..

Then found this post, bought new lights and slam, BLAM, thank you mam’ perfectly clear sounds.
I’m delighted.
14 year old thread or not-
Success !!

Hell, pour me a beer, I'll join in...

Had a set of T5HO fixtures in the shop, and yeah, as soon as I put them in, wham, no more radio. When I switched them over to their LED equivalents, the "East German Buzzsaw" interference stopped.

( Bonus points if you know what the "East German Buzzsaw" was... since this thread is almost that old, I figured the ref was kinda appropriate... )

I heard that Buzzsaw many times years ago in my Ham radio days.

Did anyone find a fix for this? Just put in several T-5's and now my fm is gone!
Thanks,:shocking:
I’m not sure how to track all the posts on this topic, I’ve made a couple of comments.

Recently, I realized that after adding an FM stereo to my garage my lights were producing an unbelievable amount of static noise when switched on.
After reading a bunch of things and then finding this post, I looked up and found on Amazon a set of four for about $100 that says they are EMI safe so I bought them, I have tried them, and they work excellently.
