Hey everyone! I'm back working on my garage again.
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to wire some lights so that they are on a timer and a motion detector. I want the lights to come on at dusk and turn off around 10pm. After 10, I want them to be motion activated.
How do I do this? Run two different circuits to the same lights? I thought this might damage the switches though.
My thinking is that if someone was lurking around my garage, motion detector security lights aren't much threat. However, if the accent lights were t turn on, that might be alarming.
