Lightweight overalls?

Kind of a clothing question. Well, exactly a clothing question.

Untill a year ago, Carhartt used to make a a tropical weight overall. No more, it seems.... and I need a new pair. These things were awesome in the warmer weather. Rugged, light, and breathable.... yet somehow impermeable to ATF and gear lube. ;)

All I can find now is dumb hippie overalls at silly hippie prices.

Has any overall-wearers found something similar?

Thanks!

I went through the same thing several years ago & the lightest options I found were hunting overalls but they fit weird & I wasn't particularly going for the camo look.

Never found what I was looking for.

I have so many leftover pairs of coveralls I never wore from my oilfield days I don’t even know if I’ll get through them all in this lifetime.

I am a big person. My wife repurposed my old coveralls as drapes for our rec-room. I thought I saw a motorhome with Quebec tags with my coveralls for curtains. I suppose they came from Good Will.

That is almost funny. I was looking for decent quality jeans that were heavyweight. I've been buying Duluth Trading for a few years and they have seemed to get lighter. I'm in Wisconsin and wear shorts all summer, but I appreciate the heavier weight jeans in the winter, not the lined or insulated.

I was going to say my Duluth overalls are pretty nice.

They apparently make a CoolMax overall:

Maybe these Duluth overalls would work.

I have the Regular firehose bibs and they are super thick and heavy duty. Hot in the summer I think I'm gonna try these lightweight ones.
