Like the lights, but need convincing

My lowes has three of these:

And two of these:

for $15 each.

I love the look, but can't seem to find any pictures on the web of hem used in shops.

They are mostly for walkway lights, not very bright because of the cover unless they are close

Would make some nice lighting in certain man caves but not much of a work light.

Maybe he wants mood lighting for when he is alone with his tool(s).

Lowes has cleared out some of their outdoor lights. I bought 3 downlights that were marked down but the guy said he'd do 50% off the marked down price so 3 for $45.
