likes and quotes

It would be good to get a notification when someone likes or quotes something you posted..keeps you more connected and keeps you from wondering if someone is interested in something you commented on...other forums work that way.

I posted something that I thought someone might be interested in and had to search to see if anyone was interested ..sure enough someone quoted it..and then I responded...keeps threads moving along

if you subscribe to threads you get notice that someone has replied to the thread.

Right. but then you get endless new posts that you may or may not be interested in. If someone likes or quoted "your" comment it makes it more personal...I like to know if someone is interest in something I personally said...as would many I would think

Hi Jonny. What you can do is to go into your profile look at your activity and read your last post and see if anybody added to it or not. it works on thread you start or a post you commented on.

I understand that and is what I've been doing. But I need to click through every thread I've been part of just to see if someone liked or quoted my stuff. I've only been here a short while and its getting old already checking every single thread just to see if someone is interested in my comment

I'm new and don't want to complain but when you offer advise on someone's question its nice to know if they responded without hunting for it
