Nah, I'm talking Snap On green colored. Solid color all the way through. I saw Chip Foose using them.

Chip Foose makes his own... Or he got them from Harbor Freight.

I've seen them but I can't remember where.

Trying to match your S/O extreme green hard handled drivers, prybars, ratchets and toolbox with your cutoff wheels? Now thats taking it a bit to the extreme (no pun intended.. ok pun intended). ;)

I saw them on OverHaulin' last night. They were spinning so maybe they were multicolored but they looked solid lime green, no labeling, at least on the back side.

Maybe they have a replay of the show....lemme see.

It was for an 1954 4 door Chevy that they did while they were at SEMA. It was for a woman with MS. They chopped the top off and made it a 2 door.

Episode is called "SEMA - Radical Roadster"
Can't seem to find any vids of it though...

are you refering to the tool its self or the wheel?

snap on use to make red, orange and green colored air tools. they use to make the lime green colored tools in such a form of a cut off tool and a DA grinder or straight edge grinder...

Referring to the wheel.

buying cutoff wheels based on color?? huh?????

No, I just want to find out what they are.

Couldn't you just paint your own? ;)

I could. And maybe that's what they did - paint the wheels since manufacturer XYZ didn't pay for advertising.

its probably a regular cut off wheel with tape on it as a depth gauge so they don't cut through too many panels.
