I bought a I.R. thunder gun yesterday and didn't know that it was limited edition until looking at the box it came in. does anyone else have one of these. was it a special gun or just a promotion they are running?

Katbird,

This is a good Ingersoll-Rand product, but it is hardly new. It was listed in the 2004 Craftsman book. It looks cool, and is an excellent tool. Just to note... at that time it was kicking Snap on's **** because they were having quite a few problems with the IM6100. This was cleaning Snap on's clock. A good tool, not unusual, and sorry, nothing really special about it, but it is a Quality I-R product and I would be happy to own one.

Somebody call Ripley's Believe It Or Not-
A post on a IR Thundergun-with a pic-and KR55(Jim) hasn't had anything to say?
Even more unbelievable-it's been up for 15 hours!
Quick-call 911 and do a missing persons report!

haha welll George, Ill chime in...

Snap on has it over IR in one way... Made in USA. I use 2 different snap on guns daily, and both the thunder gun and the 2135 kicks the S-) guns ***. The snap on gun is definetly smoother, but it takes noticably longer to remove tough bolts.

Have you run that thing yet? Its loud as hell hahahah
