I was wondering if anyone knows where I can go or look online, for a diagram for where to set the amps for the different size metal. Something that shows for what thickness to use what number. get my point? Sorry to sound so dumb. I am just trying to learn my dad's old Arc welder. Thanks for any help.

I was also looking for information concerning my newly acquired LINCWELER 225-S AC Type K-1170, code number- W-331-1J1,C14008.
I emailed Lincoln.com and after getting pictures to them they said it was made in Canada not the U.S.A..Anyway take a look at the thread I started a few day's ago,there may be some information from the fellas that responded and also there is a picture of the front plate from my machine which may help you out.
