Like most garage guys, I've got a Lincoln AC225 tombstone.
Bought it a fundraising auction. It rarely gets used, welds great when I do use it. The last time I used it I noticed the fan wasn't running. So I pulled it out from under the bench, opened it up, took a look.
The fan spins easily, bearings are lubed.
The fan will not spin when I put 220 power to it.
I assume something is wrong with the windings of the fan.
BUT, I am only reading ~23 volts at the connections where it was hooked up.
Is this correct?
BTW, its a code 6304-909.
