Needed a gear lube dispenser for the Tack Shed , and didn’t want a crappy plastic one so I went on a hunt while on a road trip for the Missus’s rabbit business. On the way home I got this one at a junk-tique place. Sadly not much paint, but that’s okay. I haven’t cleaned it up yet, but it does work. Leaks around the pump shaft seal, and there are new ones available that may fit. Apparently the model 1254 is still made. This one is a 1252 series A. Haven’t found a picture of one like it yet. Has no handle for carrying it and has no scars that I can see where there was one. Anybody know how old this is? Other ones I’ve seen tonight are not the same...183a802861e9cdedcb0ab4e6ba47266f.jpga68e5cedad49af465bc8de287299a41d.jpg429eaee279dcdd999c081699209d938b.jpg

That's pretty neat. I wonder how many sizes and pitches of gears you can get from one bucket. Would be incredibly useful to convert the thread cutting gears from my old lathe to metric thread-ability.

I made all these before lunch and had two pints left over...

I like that one Wrenchguy, never saw one before. Mine has pretty much no paint left on the sides. Wish it had this:IMG_0405.jpg

I do not know how long they made them but they had them when I was in the army in the 1990s.
