Lincoln Grease gun

Hey guys I picked this up for a customer, He ended up not wanting it as it wasn’t the same as his other guns, he thought he had Lincoln, but he had some knock off brand and the batteries weren’t compatible. Now I'm stuck with it and don’t need it. It’s a Lincoln 1242, I purchased this from Grainger for $285 + tax. I’m looking for $300 shipped.

Its been quite a while. Are these not a good gun? I was under the impression Lincoln was the best?

That version is Lincolns older model, and it can be had for MUCH less than Grainger sells it for. Lincoln is great, I have that one and the newer one.

id hate to say this, but the batteries do not last in these, and the batteries alone are very expensive. might be why there is little interest.

i had one, and after a year of use(pm's of about 4 large machines a week) the one battery that came with it died, and the price to replace($124) is almost half the price of the whole kit.

ill bet grainger will take it back or give you a credit.

after the company(who owned the tool) denied my request for a new battery replacement, i chucked the grease gun and everything it came with.

that could explain the lack of some interest.
