Whats up guys, need some help here, never owned a welding machjne before, so i bout this one about a month now and been busy, so i tryed using it yesterday ( i tryed using the flux core first since i dont have gas right now for mig, so i installed the wire turned on the machine pushed the button on the gun so the wire can come out the tip set the setting, and aimed ready to weld something on a car, and nothing happened the wire just came out more also i put the work clamp close to what i was welding still nothing, HELP WHATS WRONG ,ALSO THIS MACHINE IS BRAND NEW

Was there paint where you had the work clamp? If so, you have to grind down to bare metal.

No paint reg metal under the car, also is the little pipe where the hose would go for gas i have it open since im not using gas does that matter (on yhe back)

Get a piece of bare unrusted scrap, and hook up your ground and try there. if it still doesn't work, then look for bad or disconnected wires inside.

Also, (Just in case) you have to pull the trigger and keep pulling. it's not like arc welding where you strike an arc... (Had a guy I worked with once that bought a new mig....)
