I just finished rebuilding a jack I bought in non working condition, an old Lincoln 93642 2-Ton. I've read it is the same design as the Hein Werner 93642 jacks also. So on to my question...
This jack handle roller doesn't even make contact with the jack plunger till it is roughly 30 degrees up from the ground. There is a LOT of slop along the throw of the jack handle where it is not even in contact with the plunger. Is this normal for this jack design? Like I said it was not working when I bought it so I have no comparison for the before/after.
