Does it have the bottle/regulator/etc or is it just flux core right now?
I see them w/gas setup on CL for around $350-$450. Ive seen them higher, but i got a feeling no one sells them at that price.
Move it quick for $300.

It depends on your location.
In most major cities, they go for $450 brand new and unopened on CraigsList.
Used ones are often listed anywhere between $400 and full retail.
Beat out dirty ones for $250 - $350

The sticker on the box indicates a gas metering gauge is included. If that is the case, you can add at least 50 bucks. From what you say, I'm sure you con't have a bottle which will cost a min of 100 bucks for a small one.
That is a total joke about it being able to weld aluminum. I did everything I could to get mine to weld AL and it just won't. Not well at all anyway. I did get some semblance of a bead, but I wouldn't show it to anyone.
Glad I had argon on hand for my TIG or that would have been the biggest waste of money ever. I don't think the Pro 140 has the beans to weld AL spool gun or not.

I can buy new in that class (Hobart) for around $450, Eastwood for $300 so knock off at least $100 - $350 or so. I would not give more than that, personally, because I can buy new for little more or factory refub for about the same. They all come with the regulator, so that adds zero - you'd take off another $50 if it wasn't in there.

You ain't priced bottles lately. Try $300+
140s can't do AL as far as I know - not enough power or wire speed. 175 and up 240V units can do that and many come with the spool gun.

I'd say you could get 300-400 for it, I looked for a few months for a used one, ended up buying mine new at Lowe's with a 10% off coupon.

Didn't know all Lincoln's came with the gauge. Mine didn't. But that was back when they were called 135's. At least that's all I remember.
On the tank, I got an 80 Cu Ft full of argon, not rented, bought, for 180 at Air Gas 3 months ago. I see 25% CO2 for similar $. Maybe you should move to SoCal.

You probably had an old SP-135. Lincoln discontinued that old line of welders, in favor of these new models.
That model goes for $400-450 new, so I'd say its worth $300-350 if only lightly used. Beat to hell ones can be had cheaper, of course.

I saw this one brand new at a local welders supply shop for $620.00. I've had one of these for a few years and love it. Comes in handy when you least expect it.
