What is the story behind those work benches??
I have 2 different benches myself.
one is restored and the other is waiting its turn
Mine are both Alemite boxes and I believe that lincoln is connected to Alemite some how.

Alemite and Lincoln are both owned by SKF now, but that's a pretty recent development (past 2 or 3 years). They have been under the corproate umbrella for roughly the past 5 years, but prior to that they were pretty fierce competitors.

I've sold Lincoln products for the past 18 years and never saw one of these benches! (Nor have I seen an Alemite for that matter). They look a lot like the old Ammco brake lathe benches, but they were most likely used for lube pump service and repairs.

I'm amazed at the stuff you guys can find!

I found the cabinets on craigslist. It sat in someones garage untilhis widow sold it to me. He found it in a repair shop about 20 years ago and they were happy to get rid of it. The bench I found on ebay.I have no history on it.the pressure gauges go to 2000 psi on the low and 10,000 pn the high and 200 on the air.I have no idea what the bench was used for
