It's certainly a bit of a relic. Might be tough as iron I dunno, but I can tell you there is nothing lovely about buying ESAB consumables. If its the PT31XL torch, the nozzle gets bitched up a little so like 5 to 1 nozzles to electrodes. That nozzle is narrow and fine- it works great for automotive stuff.
I'd really try to get in a inverter glass machine unless its really cheap. Hypertherm is really the gold standard in the states, but if I were looking for cheap and slightly obscure I'd consider a used ESAB inverter instead.
