Note that it is 12 point.

3. Wright. The text is

Outlaw's line up shows the Herbrand version.

Nose diameter is close to 3/4"

The Proto version is #6523

Here's my Blackhawk 7/16" drive socket. I knew this was a specialty socket, but didn't really know its application until I found it along with another in a 1941 catalog.

Not really that suprising. Blackhawk often used the same tool number for various pieces even though the design/style changed over time.
