I had posted a response to Monte in a different thread before. If you notice, the Stahwille do no grab the "front" two corners of the fitting. Hazet does. To be safe, I would think as much contact as possible is best.

when you look at the pic's the stahlwille grabs 5 sides while the others only grab 4. i think the proto's we're the same as the stahlwille's

do hazet still make spanners? i dont think i've ever seen any one selling them in aus.

any idear on the hazet price for a 6 or 7 peice set? they look nice and beefy.
most of the others are around $300-$400 aud. so i'm not sure witch way to go they will see full time workshop use and i want them to last a life time.
also unlike nuts and bolt that get damaged flare nuts are a lot harder to replace. so witch set do i go for?

I can't say whether Hazet is any better than SnapOn or others, but for a price, PM member jensputzier.

thanks for all the advice guy's i got the snappy set off the truck had them for a few weeks now and they fit real well and havent looked like slipping.
even after one of the other tech's rounded a flare nut with a cheap spanner.
now i can go drink some koolaid
