What would be best, to run the Lineset on the inside garage wall or on the outside of the garage for a Mini Split System?

Thanks, Chris

Inside if it is accessible. Mine is on the inside except for a hole right at the compressor unit where it hooks up. Very clean looking install and better protection for the lineset. If you are mounting it on the same wall, you might need to add some sort of distance between the unit and studs to make up for the radius in the lines. Mine is mounted on an interior wall so the raduis was not an issue. You can fur out with 2X4's to mount the unit on and make space for the radius if needed.

I will try to get some and post them up. If you can find the install instructions on the web prior to getting the unit you will be ahead of the game. Plus, the install is pretty straight forward but I paid for the connection/servicing part to ensure the warrantee was good. My unit required 10 guage wire to the compressor cut-off. I could have used 12 guage if it were a shorter run. I purchased the fiberglass pad for the unit to set on, the disconnect box, electrical whip and linesets from the same company.

I will try to get some pics up when I am back at the house.
