Linoleum to heck

We bought a house and in the kitchen and other rooms it has white linoleum, this house is 15 years old. Anyway after we moved in we notice like the lino has circles in it like a swirl pattern until my wife dropped something on it and it came up white then we realized how bad it was.
I rented a big buffer with the commercial roller on it and it helped but it's embarrasing. I have done the ammonia, clorox, jack in the box, I tryed simple orange and that seems to have helped.
Going to rent a buffer again with a more aggressive pad my question one of them has anyone any ideas on how to cut through all the years of junk on the floor and get back down to a clean surface.

With all the effort you are applying to this, consider removing it, and laying tile. Raise the value of your home, install something that cleans well, and will last for ever.

Is this real linoleum that has sealer on it? Or vinyl sheet flooring that is just dirty?

Either way, a floor stripper will probably help. You could look for a high alkaline cleaner. One example is Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Tile and Grout cleaner. I think HD still carries this one. If not, they have some other similar product. The blue store will also carry one too, I think they are carrying a Dupont brand now but I don't know what they name them at the box stores.
