Lisle low profile creeper

I used cheap creepers before but ended up lying on the floor because puts my head too close to the car, relatively to being on the floor anyway.

I was thinking of getting the lisle low profile creeper it has 7/8" clearance, does that mean it will only elevate me about 7/8" + the height of the plastic?

What do you guys think? I can't afford a $200 kreepster but for $55 I might want to get into using a creeper again.

I think your on the right track the ad says the creeper is 4" overall height so I would guess your body would be about 2"-3" off the floor.

This is the most comfortable creeper in the world. I have a hard time getting off this thing.

I've got one of those and love it. Fairly indestructable. I'm not at home this week to be able to go measure for you but the specs you state sound about right. The creeper is contoured and lower to the ground in the middle. The bottom of the creeper is only about 1" off the ground at the lowest point. Outside edges where wheels are mounted are slightly higher.

That is a lot of $$ for a creeper. Is there any reason why you can't jack up the vehicle higher?

I bought a 6 wheeled creeper similar to that at AutoZone a couple weeks ago. It says Duralast on it, I think it was $39, but on the sides between the middle wheels and the ones where your **** goes, they have little trays on the sides molded in. I tried finding a pic online, but couldn't. I haven't got to use it yet, but I think I'm going to like it, 3" rubber coated wheels have to be nicer than the 1" plastic ones my old one has.
