I missed the Auto show this year, but that box would be right at home here as I have a couple older Mopars here myself (not quite as old as I'd like, but still RWD V8s with carburetors--nother story). I used to work for Denny Guest, who always has a big display up there, so when I do go I always make a point to go by the Dodge booth and say "hey" (Denny is owner of South oak Dodge)
I have heard of Lista but never seen one in person myself.
Been hoping to find an older truck brand or Waterloo or Remline etc via CL... can't afford new, esp for home now that my big MATCO box is now at my new job 40 mi away from home

You say this was by the "Dodge Dart" display... was there any older Darts there, so we can see what a disappointment this new version really is? I saw a real nice '73 when I was in KY last summer that made me wish I had a stash of bills in my wallet at the time. I wish they'd bring back the 65-76s, just as they were in the day!
that's why I have a Volare, closest thing to a Dart I could find, when I was lookin

I like the Lista boxes in general, and that one is ok, just not my taste. It would look great in a Mopar garage though.

I bet Lista would sell a few more carts if they offered a graphics package like that.

How does lista do their drawers in a box like that? Do they have ball bearing slides like other tool box makers or do they use the more traditional industrial cabinet design with roller bearings?

LISTA uses a full extension slide that is mounted in a heavy steel U-Channel bracket. The older LISTA suspensions had steel roller bearings but they were replaced with a Polyoxymethylene (POM) bearings about 6 years ago. The big issue with the steel roller bearings was that nobody ever cleaned or lubricated them; hence they would wear out. The new POM suspension has been nothing short of spectacular. I have not seen a single failure at all in about 6 years and they roll a lot smoother than the older design.

The attached images show the old vs. new design suspension systems on LISTA drawers. The new design (white rails) was a collaboration between LISTA US, LISTA Switzerland, and the Austrian company that manufactures the suspension glides. The drawers were tested and exceeded the specifications of the RAL-RG 614 standard from the German Institute of Quality Assurance. See
for more info on RAL-RG 614.

As I have said in several other posts, the old suspension must be properly cleaned and lubricated if you want it to last a lifetime. The new suspension requires no maintenance and works flawlessly.

Regarding the question about LISTA financing ... LISTA does not offer any financing. We can help arrange lease and lease to own financing.

Regards,
Joe
