Though you might like to see a few Lista boxes where I work. There is probably 20 or so in the group there. Just a drop in the bucket though; there are THOUSANDS.
Are these some of the boxes that have sensors for every tool in the box? My SO dealer was saying big aviation shops have boxes with sensors for every single tool that way no tool gets left behind up in the sky. Thought that was really cool.
Aviation industry; yes. But I cannot disclose where. Sorry.
No sensors in any of ours. The ones you see are actually used to hold parts for component builds. All the tools are in boxes behind me in individual build cells.
Lista builds some damn fine boxes. When I worked for a large corporation as an industrial truck mechanic, we had Lista boxes and workbench combos. Each bench had 3 of the 7 drawer tool cabinets that went under the benches. When they closed down our shop, they let each of us take home 1 of the cabinets. I have mine in the garage at home and use it daily. Very fine boxes.
Nice boxes. In a past life I worked in a dept responsible for machine tool procurement. We would often need to augment the line set up with tool storage etc. I got paid to rummage through catalogs selecting boxes like this
