Hi,
I picked up these Lista cabinets off of Craig's List. I paid well under $100 a drawer so I think I did ok and it came with the maple top and some strange shelf thing I'm not sure if I will keep. I had thought I wanted a Snap-On KRL but after getting these cabinets I want more Lista. I can't believe how strong these are built. I'm not sure if these are the 165 pound or 440 pound rated drawers. The only bad thing is something strange happened to the paint. The guy I bought them from said he had a fire in his house and these were in the basement and the house stayed damp for a long time and he said something about storing by concrete. If you look close there was a bunch of surface rust which washed off but left weird white marks on the paint. Anybody have any idea what's up with that? I think these are from around 1998 or 1999 as there was a manual inside and that was the date. I cleaned it off as well as I could with Dawn soap and a nylon brush and then waxed with Johnson's paste wax. Maybe someday when I move I will pay somebody to repaint them professionally. The body is in great shape and is the insides of the drawers. They were so heavy I had to remove the drawers before we could load in my truck. I thinking each one weights about 400-500 pounds empty with drawers. They are 33 inches high x 28 inches deep by 22.5 inches wide. The drawers come out about 90% of the way which is nice.
