Picked this up this AM for $750, talked her (yep, her, and HOT too) down from $1000. The drawers are 36x24 inside, and there are 8 of them. three, 2-inch, one, 3-inch, two, 4-inch, one, 5-inch, one, 8-inch. Stainless steel top, too. The box is new, but the drawer pulls have a bit of damage from the locking bar on the left side. Something I can easily overlook. Its signed by a couple of racers who I don't know or care about, but a little alcohol will take care of that soon. This box will be replacing a 42" craftsman rollaway and making lots of room inside my snap-on 3 footer.

I'll post some pics of it later once I've got some tools in it.

La-ti-da Mr. fancy pants and your premium tool cabinet. If it is it's been up there for awhile, don't know why but probably why he came down a bit. That thing has been temping me for a while, just a little bigger than I want, but a great drawer size configuration (although I'd like to lose a 4" and get two more 2"), color and wheels (sweeeeeeeet), I think that would hold about everything you need I the way of hand tools.

So just tell us about HER. :bounce:

How did it feel to tell HER that HER pretty box wasn't worth what she was trying to sell HER box for? :pimpflash

OBTW, nice box!

Pretty nice. We've gotta couple of the Stanley VIDMAR's at work. They look identical to that very box.

I had that happen a couple of years ago. One Friday, saw a Snap On top and bottom box in good shape, called the guy, went and got it that afternoon...it was a steal. Later on I realized he had originally put an ad for that combo two weeks previous...but I had never seen it. :headscrat

Well, I got it filled up. Its nice not to have stuff piled on top of stuff...

BTW the drawer liners are cut from a roll of wood floor underlayment. The color is a little icky, but what are you going to do. It looks like it will work nicely.

Here are the drawers. Action is nice and smooth, even on the drawer with the big sockets which have to weigh a couple hundred pounds.

1. Wrenches. I think I need to look into some wrench racks. There are two sets of SAE and metric combos lying on top of one another.

2. other wrenches

3. need more wrenches

4. 3/8 and 1/4 drive stuff

5. 3/4 and 1/2 drive stuff

6. hammers and prybars

7. die grinders

8. angle grinders and sawzall (welcome back to the toolbox sawzall, missed ya)

ack! there's an empty drawer in the SO box now.

Yep, that's them... maybe I should just put this in storage as a collectors item, may be worth big bucks some day!

Don't hold your breath!

Bust out the brake cleaner and a rag and wipe those two tools off of your nice Lista box.

I think I saw it on the Kenosha craig's list (maybe Rockford), it was only in the last week or so that I saw it on the Chicago craig's list.

Looks like you could use a die grinder.

A while ago I decided it might be a good idea to get one with each kind of bur. Then I got a whole bunch of burs at a garage sale, or something, and the whole thing became kind of impossible. Still, I have all the most common ones covered. Its nice not to have to change them out, much easier to grab another grinder. They're all either ebay or cl buys.

How do the liners in the drawer work for slippage? Good, or not so much?

It looks like the material will work great. Everything is staying put nicely.

I've never used it before, so I don't know how long it will last.

Great Find, super nice  Those drawers look to be over 30" deep, are they? Like Mickey mentioned, no shortage of die grinders for you :lol_hitti

the drawers are 24" deep, 36" wide (inside dims). The box itself is 40.5 wide, 28.75 deep, and 45.5 tall.
