I have lista units at work that I use the drawers as a ladder all the time, I am 200lbs plus the welding fixtures in the drawers, No problems. I hope that some day they throw a section away, right into my truck. They trash stuff like that away all the time in the name of 5S. Im not complaining mind you caus most of that stuff ends up in my shop.

I was going to post the CL link after I picked them up, but you beat me to it. I purchased 2 cabinets today from these guys. They banded the drawers and were very helpful and easy to deal with. I purchased the 17 and 12 drawer units. They were a handful to get them off my truck, but they are in their new home. Can't wait to clean them up and get them full.

He has several more as the CL post says and they were from Borg Warner plant that closed in Muncie.

Paid $1650 for both. If you go there tell them Eric sent you and he might give me one of Lyon's as a kickback:pimpflash

Man those things are nice! Good score.

Whaddya mean? They're made around here? :headscrat

I guess I'm the only guy who wasn't that impressed with the Lista. They're going to be in town at a show in a month or two, so I should look at them again. I seen working (non-shiny-new trade show examples) in person, but guess I never paid that much attention before.

After all, can all of GJ be wrong?

The ones I saw did have very nice bends to form the pull handles on the drawers.

There is no price advantage to buying a new pre-configured cabinet from Lista. The price will be equal to the cost of the drawers, housing, base and top. As such, you can configure the cabinet to meet your storage needs, from 2" depth (I never use the 1" deep drawer) up to 13" depth. Anything deeper than that, consider a pull out tray or shallow drawer to hold and secure taller items...see below.

Started a new job this week, and when I was in the company's inspection department today fixing a computer, I noticed the workbenches and storage looked awfully familiar...turns out they were Lista :D
