What is a decent price to pay for a a lista workbench with a 6 drawer cabinet? The cabinets drawers all work the whole unit could use a repaint no lock that doesn’t matter. The bench top is steel with the three sides turned up.

Re: Lists workbench

Really depends on condition but when similar is for sell down here that would be between $300 and $500.

Re: Lists workbench

So I bought the lista work station, cost $160 so that seems reasonable to me for a 5 foot steel topped workbench and 6 drawer cabinet. I didn’t realize how heavy the things are must be 300 to 400 lb. Just need to decide on a paint color it’s usable as is but now is the time to clean it up. Are the clear drawer handle strips available somewhere?

Re: Lists workbench

You got a very good deal in my opinion. A little elbow grease and paint and you'll have one fine bench.

Great price. I had a similar one that had a pegboard wall integrated in it. I never liked the top though. It’s just thin galvanized over 2x6’s. A butcher block top would be ideal.

Great price. Lista parts are usually available. If you are needing parts, reach out to AmericanWorkspace and see if they can help.

Thanks for the info
The only thing that is nasty is the plastic overlay on the handles. Just not sure if I will replace them or not

I paid $700 for this six drawer w/butcher block top. Pretty mint condition, other than 4 3/8" holes in the top where they had a tensile test machine mounted. People over pay for Lista and Vidmar at auctions around here--I've seen them go for $1000+

Imagine how much they overpay when they buy them new.

Amen to that.

I hope all think SO boxes are way way way way way over-priced then. I paid $50 a drawer freight from Tx to Ca. My next box will probably be a General if new and ? if used.
