lith ion or nicd

Does anyone know if 18 V lith ion batteries # 48-11-1830 will interchange with my 18 V NiCd batteries # 48-11-2230 for my Milwaukie sawzall? Will my NiCd charger work? I found some NIB lith ion's on CL for a good price.
