I have 9 of the led lithonia ibh15000 lights to install.

What kind of spacing should I have between these? Building is 30x50, but they will be in a 30x40 area. The other 10x30 section will have mezzanine, so different lighting. All vaulted ceilings, 14' side wall, 18'6" peak.

Also, the specs say minimum 18" spacing to top of plenum. Can I get away with less? The dilemma is the high track garage doors. Only 16" above them. Or should I just figure out how to mount them underneath?

Thanks

You need a link or a photo, a catalog number really does not mean much.

They show an option for bracket mounting, but it sure isn't 18" clearance. So what gives?

Hey there I did the calculations for you doing 3 rows of 3 fixtures mounted. Space the fixtures 5 feet away from the walls. Space the rows 10 feet apart and use roughly 13.33 feet on center spacing as you go down the rows. Doing worry about plenums just mount the units at the 14 foot height if possible.

Seems to me that the manufacturer might have specified minimum top clearance due to heat dissipation issues. I bet that fixture gets pretty hot on top.
Better be careful.

Thanks fastevo9, I will follow that spaceing. Yes, heat was my concern for mounting closer to ceiling. I will just cantilever off of my trusses to hang the two lights under the doors instead of above. Should be able to have them all at 14-15'.

Thanks.
