Saved this from scrap yard today. Can anyone tell me what does to chain or how to operate it?
Jaw does open and close but just don't understand what it's for. Thanks for any answers to my question. Bill

I have seen that for squeezing chain links for log skidders. Big heavy chain. Takes two men to carry the chain.

What is the patent number under the Little Giant wording?

It’s no more complicated than what it is, a giant pliers for closing shut big chain links.
