I would like to say thank you for letting me in. I have read thru a lot of information here, and would like to thank the contributer's emensly. I have played with building a WOB over the yrs, and now that i've retired and am 65 I don't have the energy to chop wood every yr for cheep heat! so it's on. I'll be sticking my nose in here more often as I start to collect more stuff, I already have a couple of old beckett burners laying around. I spent 40 yrs in the hvac business from service to installation, mostly commercial and industrial, been around oil for years and do respect it. I have some off the wall ideas and maybe you all can shut me down right off the line before I wast a lot of time. First I am considering using a standing flame pilot instead of electric ignition. saves having the dirty electrode issue's; second do you feel it necessary to run any oil presure at all with a syphone type nozzle in a heated nozzle set up. /thanks for your thoughts before I run off wasting time and money for a wild thought.
