Load Calculations for Steel Building

Hey guys i'm trying to get my power company a Load Calculation for my new steel building. I will be doing the electrical inside the building from panel myself. I know exactly how many circuits I am going to run and the AMP on each circuit.

Every Excel load calculator that I find is for residential or they are 3 phase 480/230V.

Does anyone have any suggestions or excel spreadsheet I can use to simply plug in the info I have.

Like 40amp welder . 2 25 amp AC circuit. 20amp lighting 4 20 amp outlets etc.

How big is the building,what are you using it for?

4000 sq ft. Welding and fabrication. With lighting I will have 370 amp worth of breakers.

See if you can find the website for your power company and find their Load Sheet online (Thats what they want filled out)

You need to see what power is available from them or what its going to cost $$

What kind of machines,how many people?
Single phase or 3 phase equipment,or combination?
Over head or underground service?
If you're going single phase I'd say go for a 400a service so you have plenty of room to add future equipment.

It's easier/cheaper to go big when it's new construction then to come back later and rework things after the fact.

I did a similar size welding and fab shop and I ran a 120/208 3Ø 200 Amp Service to it, with 42 circuit 225A panel.
You don't add up the total of the breakers. It doesn't matter.

Underground single phase.

I have a plasma table. Tig welder. Mig welder. 2 lifts. 2 ac units. 20 225w lights. 40 110v 2 plugs. 10hp air compressor and 30hp 3 phase converter to run mill lathe disc sander iron worker.

In near future will be adding powercoating oven and paint booth. 40amp for oven and 20 for booths fan/filter setup.

I want a 400amp service which wont be a problem just the power company wants a load calculation for their books.
