No panel is perfect or best for all uses.
GE panels are OK as long as you don't use the 1/2 size wafer breakers.
I like the ground and neutral buses in Murray panels.
Some of the new Square D panels with the clip on neutral are great if you have a lot of AFCI/GFCI breakers.
Having the option of a plug in surge protector (SPD) is nice if it is the main panel.
