I'd screw a 1x3 or 1x4 to each side of each 2x10, besides providing edges to keep the casters from going off the edge it would also stiffen the ramps.

The "Side Curbs" will reduce flexing and add strength to the ramps.

For items which could slide on planks onto a pickup bed, such as a large 12 drawer Vidmar, placing a wool blanket on the wood planks makes it fairly easy for a 1 man operation. I specified a wool blanket, such as a UHall blanket as wool lets things slide much better than other fabrics
