This is a car company that is trying to tap into the large pool of trained designers and combine their designs with relatively inexpensive manufacturing equipment. They get around all the regulations a normal car company must obey by having you build it with them. Semi Homemade if you will. I wonder if it will take off? Discuss....

Similar in a way to Factory Five Racing, and FFR is doing pretty well. With this one it looks like you go to their facility and help build it for 50K.

Interesting. This is a business model that's been used for a while in "homebuilt" aircraft as well.
