Hi Everyone,
I feel stupid even asking this question, but I can't find a place to order a simple screw that I broke on my craftsman air compressor. Searspartsdirect can't get it for me, they do not sell the individual screw and it's not part of a kit. Can anyone by a stroke of luck have this air compressor and run into trying to find this screw? Its a craftsman model 921.166420 air compressor and the screw is a left hand thread that holds on the fan. It screws directly into the motor shaft. It doesn't have a part# in the manual but is described as size M5x0.8x15mm, Left Hand Thread. I ordered this screw from a vendor I found online, but it doesn't fit! The diameter of the screw is too small. I verified that the screw I received is correct with calipers. The manual clearly lists the wrong screw... I don't have the means to measure the reverse tapped hole. Does anyone by a miracle know what this screw would be?
