Hopefully not, but last time I was there, I noticed the display 44" box had a sandard key instead of the cylinder lock that my lower chest came with. I've been planning on getting the upper at some point but my OCD really wants similar locks for top and bottom.

I have the 44" set. On mine, the upper box has a cylinder lock, and the lower has a flat key. Perhaps you can reason with your OCD. If the two locks are the same style, but are not the same key, then half the time, you'll be trying to open the box with the wrong key.

Call HF customer service (you'll need the model numbers of the boxes). They have replacement locks for the 44" box, and should be able to get you a keyed alike set. The replacements have a flat "castle" style key.

You may need to buy a 5 lock set, but that will leave you extras for the add on cabinets later.

Check my signature. The link about my 26" box has the part number for the 5 lock set somewhere in there.

+1. HF Customer Service is actually a pleasure to work with and should be able to sell you as many 'keyed alike' locks as you would like.
